We have not watched Signing Time much lately, because Cece has been uninterested in TV. But today, she was fascinated, and kept on asking for "more more more." I let her watch three episodes throughout the day, and she copied most of the signs. She is signing Dad in this picture.

Absolutely gorgeous weather today, and we played in the front yard for a couple of hours. The big girls rode bikes and scooters while Cece and I hung out on the grass. Ellie got hot, and she disappeared inside. I thought she was done playing, until she came back out, lugging an umbrella, drinks, and snacks. We had an awesome impromptu picnic, made even better when Cece stole Lynnie's lemonade.

Pyper and her family are moving to Texas, and she is only going to be in school until Friday. Ellie is heartbroken that her BFF is moving away! We are really hoping they can be pen pals. Pyper has been a wonderful friend. I will miss seeing her give Ellie a hug good-bye every day when I pick her up from school.

Today, we finished a project that we started on Monday. Ellie and Lynnie were big helpers as we worked on it a little each day. We got all of the clothes switched out for bigger sizes, and -- the big deal -- sorted the closet in the basement. I went through each bin and reorganized everything. Greg is happy about it because now the utility panels are accessible, instead of buried behind mounds of clothes.

Our nice neighbor Traci gave us these darling pillowcase dresses for the girls. They looked so cute!
Lynnie is out of her routine and really struggled today in Primary. She finally went to her class, but Sharing Time was a disaster.
That little lady sure is stubborn sometimes. She forgot to bring Puppy to church (she is in charge of remembering it if she wants it) and she never got over it. We had it worked out that she was going to sit with Ellie during Sharing Time and then go to her class, but Lynnie was crying before we got in the Primary room. Then a nice leader tried to help and take Lynnie to her class to sit with Sister Meiners, and Lynnie reacted by screaming even louder. So I took her with me to our hiding place in the Stake Wing and we had a time out and some serious discussion about how to act appropriately. When Lynnie was calm, we tried Sharing Time again, also with disastrous results. Back to the Stake Wing we went. Greg was able to come out between appointments and talk with us for a minute, and Lynnie excitedly had him take her to her class.

We had plans to meet Albert and Kanisha at Discovery Park, but Lynnie is fighting a cold. So instead, Albert & Kanisha came and hung out with us at our house for the afternoon. Lynnie wanted to have a tea party. I love that Albert put out his pinky with her. That is true love!

Cece is a smart baby and has learned quickly not to play with the toilet paper. When I got out of the shower today, I thought she had forgotten, but quickly realized that she did not play with the toilet paper on the roll, but had pulled toilet paper out of a package that I left open in the bathroom. Totally my fault.

Sister Meiners brought Lynnie a plate of cookies today, to say she was missed in Primary. Between Adam's homecoming, Stake Conference, and missing two weeks due to sickness, we are almost inactive. Sister Meiners is the best teacher ever to come and visit Lynnie and encourage her to come to Primary.

We met Tayler and her children at the Museum of Natural Curiosity and had a great time playing together. It is always fun to spend time with them.
Hudson is hiding in his stroller, but everyone else is in the picture. Can you spot Cece, Piper, Tayler, Lynnie, and Ellie?

We kept Cece's germs at home today and so we had Primary at home. Ellie set up the "stand" complete with a microphone. We sang I Love to See the Temple at least 6 times, because Lynnie wanted to. Ellie was in charge of everything else. We would have played longer, but Cece was all of a sudden desperate for a nap.

The morning had been busy and I didn't take the time to get Cece dressed. After we picked up Ellie from school, I was making lunch and Ellie took matters into her own hands. She picked out an outfit and got Cece completely dressed. It was pretty awesome!

Lynnie, Cece and I headed to the audiologist today for another Sound Booth test. The audiologist was very excited that Cece's results were consistent with her last test two weeks ago. Cece was hearing at the lower frequencies at 20 decibels, at the middle frequencies at 30 decibels, and at the higher frequencies at 40 decibels. Janeal made a few programming tweaks to the hearing aids.
Before we left, Lynnie needed to go potty. The school has a bathroom with a little potty, and Lu likes to take her time. She was taking long enough that Cece was tired of waiting for her milk, and so I set up a temporary feeding station.

It's the first big snowfall since Christmas Day, and we had to play in it!
First time for Cece bundled up in the snow.
First time for Ellie wearing her new snow pants.
First time for Lynnie using her snow art kit, which was a present from Grandma Camp.
First time Cece stood by the van and screamed because she was mad that I was trying to shovel.

We love playing in the play room in the basement. Cece was having a good time pulling puzzles apart, especially the puzzle she got for her birthday from her Auntie B, with it's awesome zebra. Lynnie discovered how to hang on the railing, and then of course Ellie had to give it a try.

Ellie has a nasty cold and missed school on Friday (and Monday and Tuesday). Instead of bringing her germs to church, we had Primary at home. The girls really know the order of Opening Exercises. I was impressed. We spent some time playing in the basement, and Lynnie was Princes Aurora with a Mother Gothel cape. After dinner, while I was putting Cece to bed, Ellie and Lynnie set up a movie spot in the Ducky Potty.
