Primary Program

We are in the midst of colds around here, but we gathered our strength and went to Sacrament Meeting.  It was Ellie's very first time to participate in the the Children's Sacrament Meeting Presentation {a.k.a. the Primary Program} and I was heartbroken to think that she would miss it.

President had arranged to come, and lucky Ellie sat on his lap the whole time.

Lynlee fell asleep about 5 minutes into the meeting and slept for an hour.

I cried like a baby.  I was so touched by the children--by their brightness and earnestness and joy.  They radiated light and goodness.

Ellie especially was darling.  She had missed the practice on Saturday morning because she was sick, but it didn't matter.  She sang her heart out for each song and did great.  It was worked out ahead of time with Sister Meiners for what to do when it was her turn to talk.  Ellie left Daddy's side, walked to her class to deliver her line, and then went right back to Daddy.  Her class was sitting on the 2nd row on the floor, and her teacher passed the microphone to each child.

My favorite part was during the closing song.  Ellie started waving at the Morrows, and kind of danced around and leaned back and forth until she made sure that every single Morrow had seen her waving.

After we got home, Ellie immediately changed into her nightgown and lined up all of her babies on the couch.  She has named each one.
Swan Lake, The Princess & The Pauper, Tangled, Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella, and {holding} Snow White
