The girls love to climb behind our bed. Lynlee, especially, loves to hide back there. She will giggle and yell, "where's Lynlee? PEEK-A-BOO!"

I love that the highlight of the week was today, when we spent the whole day together as a family. We got up and exercised, and Ellie did the whole dvd with us, while Lynnie entertained us by playing on her drums and talking to her babies.
Then we went to Costco, and then worked in the yard for a while. We found a dead bird with bugs crawling all over it, and the girls were fascinated.
Next up was a movie. We bought Dumbo at Costco and headed downstairs to watch it on the big screen. It was so fun!
Last up, dinner (including zucchini and green beans from the garden), baths, snuggles, and bed. A great day!

We spent a few hours with Aunt Amy and Grandma today (who is home from work because she had eye surgery last Friday and took a week of sick days). Ellie and Amy built a rocketship for almost 2 hours. Lynlee and I helped a little, but it was really Ellie and Amy's project.
The most shocking part of the day was when Amy wrote on the floor. With washable markers. That she immediately cleaned up.
The girls were very concerned.
We have had many talks about where markers and paint go (ON PAPER), especially since Tangled paints on the walls.

Lynnie's birth mom gave her this dolphin (when she announced to us), and it is currently Lynnie's favorite toy. She calls it Baby Dolphin and we take it everywhere. It has kind of replaced Puppy, in many ways.
And it has been missing since Friday night.
We have looked all weekend for it. And many tears have been shed.
But this morning I found it! It was in the girls' laundry hamper. Apparently as we picked up for our party Friday night, Baby Dolphin got "put away" in the hamper.
This girl is happy again!

Our old faucet broke when I was at Women's Conference in May. We had 3 holes in the counter, for the the faucet, handle, and sprayer. The replacement faucet we picked out only had 2 holes, so we ordered a soap dispenser to fill that last hole. The soap dispenser didn't make it the day the rest of the faucet was installed.
But we have it now. It's kind of flimsy, but it looks pretty and it works great if you are careful to push in the middle, and not on the long nose part.

It was our monthly family dinner at Grandma Camp's house, and Grandma Great was there. Ellie ran over to the family room, saw her, and ran right back to me to excitedly say, "look, Mom, it's my favorite grandma!" Then Ellie and Lulu talked with her and sat down to play by her. Super sweet.

Greg and I had a big day planned for our anniversary, and knew it was possible to do it with Hailey in charge of the girls. We were gone 10 hours, and I didn't worry for a single second.
I also loved this darling photo collage Hailey posted on Instagram.
And especially proud that Hailey used the correct form of "they're" in her sentence!

The girls got up too early today, and Ellie had a rough morning. Greg had a good idea and we all snuggled up in bed together. Greg said Ellie just needed to rest for 5 minutes and she could get up again. After a few minutes, Lynlee had fallen back asleep, but Ellie stayed awake.
Lynnie slept until 11:30. It made for a great day to have her so well rested!

My new favorite drink: a Dirty Diet Coke.
Tiff introduced me at Book Club last month, and then I found a variation on Pinterest, and then we made our own version.
Seriously yummy. Seriously addictive.
I had 3. And made myself stop.
1 can Diet Coke
1/2 a fresh lime
1/3 capful of coconut extract

We are headed to visit Kyle & Jonette today, but had to wait until Greg was done with a meeting at the stake center they are building for our stake. The girls and I got all of the final packing done and then had to entertain ourselves while we waited.
That was hard work--we were excited to go! How about a cookie for breakfast? Ellie had picked out these orange cookies to bring with us to give to Tammy.

Lynnie was playing with the nightstand in her room and got her thumb stuck in the door. She was so sad, and just kept on crying, "I want Daddy! I want Daddy to kiss it!"
I had to take this picture and send it to Daddy so he could see just how sad his baby was. Poor girl!
