Todd & Rachel's Annual Pumpkin Carving Party

We were excited to go to Todd & Rachel's annual pumpkin carving party.  Both of the girls were congested and had intermittent coughing, but we decided to go anyway.  About 20 minutes after we got there, Ellie's face notably changed color and she started pulling on her right ear and saying it hurt.  We quickly packed up and went to the Instacare.  She had her first ever ear infection!  By this time it was 8, and we tried Walgreens and Walmart before finding a pharmacy open at Smiths to fill her prescription for antibiotics.  The doctor also checked Lynlee's ears and throat, and she was clear.

Almost a Year Old

I am so fast and wanted to vault myself off of the couch!  Good thing Daddy caught me.

We love to play with Hope!  Ellie was so excited that her friend was coming over to play.  She was super bossy, and Hope was a good sport and went along with whatever Ellie cooked up.  We built towers and crashed them, and colored, and ate snacks, and played with stickers.
Hope lives next door and is a month younger than Ellie

New BFF?

My visiting teachers came over to play today, and Lynlee and Emery were fascinated with each other.  Plus, they matched!
Lulu is about a month older than Emery

Pretending to Sleep

Ellie "helped" me give Lynnie her bath, and Lynnie splashed a lot of water on her sister.  I took off E's shirt so she wouldn't get cold from the water while I finished getting Lynnie ready for bed.  When I came back from putting Lynnie down, Ellie was pretending to be asleep on the couch.  As soon as I came out, she popped up and said, "Ta Da!"

Ellie knows all of her letters.  I got the LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Alphabet toy for her because I knew she knew some the letters (notably, the ones in her name and Lynlee's name).  She helped me pull all of the letters out of the package and put them on the fridge, and she named every single letter.  What a smart girl!
